His sister hel brings. here is the important part to this, though the snake and the others kill most of the gods they intern kill him and his siblings. and as far as I know, there was no point in time where the world snake could be outside the water eating his tail unless it was Ragnarök which implies that hiccup stopped one of the three big enemies during Ragnarök in the war, which I guess means he’s the hero of all heroes? which makes me assume in this alternative that the gods or at least a quarter of them are still alive???? but I assume that would mean they’re not quite happy if these random kids and a guy with an ax opens one of the guys who are supposed to end the world so if nine realms is really going off of norse mythology then I guess we’re going to see them next season, let’s just hope they don’t butcher them too much or alternatively The random guy with an ax, and these random kids started Ragnarök so I guess we can blame these children for ending the world😃

I think, that if Dreamworks and Universal would want to not destroy HTTYD 3 ending but still milk the franchise, they could have gone to prequel teritory, making series about Hiccup's mom time between dragons

The biggest issue for anyone who looks at this relationship is that it seems to perfect And the question of Hiccup’s worth and Astrid as almost depicted as a prize to be won It begs the actual question had Hiccup not shoot down toothless Or if say dragons never existed and it was more like a reality setting Would Hiccup even get the girl so to speak And would Astrid fall for Hiccup as she did It’s a case where the relationship does in fact take years of friendship and teasing to get to that level (as it’s pretty safe to say hiccup and Astrid didn’t get physical to the point of making love up until after the third film, otherwise none of the awkwardness would make sense throughout the series) But the spark that turned into a big flame by the first movie Kinda begs what started the flame And is it due to circumstances The choices made in said circumstances With everything coming together almost perfectly Which again begs what if it wasn’t perfect in the set up Rather then say Hiccup actually proving himself And Astrid seeing him beyond the events leading up to seeing Hiccup’s actions when dealing with dragons In another way of saying it Would Peter Parker be the person he is to get MJ or Gwen Stacy’s love if he was never bitten by the spider to become Spider-Man(we are not talking about some stories where they do, we are asking based on the context of realism) Its that type of question where the worth or development of an individual is more circumstance creating a chain of events where peter becomes more heroic outspoken and responsible even more attractive because he is Spider-Man If that ever happened it’s argued he couldn’t be with MJ or Gwen without the growth or ver notion he is Spider-Man Yet if he never was bitten by the spider would he even say get the girls so to speak As women I shouldn’t think have to be viewed as prizes to be won Yet yeh world isn’t black and white and there are just as many cricked men and women out there who would take advantage of someone to their own benefit But this is a question for people with maturity integrity and morals As such women with said attributes are in real control if the relationship is even a thing As the man would be gentlemen like or respectful Plus it’s in nature to ask the women for convent to a relationship Since biological they bare their children if chosen a good man seeks their approval for a relationship or they dictate whether you are worthy of them Then the inverse However there is exceptions Since if your dealing with someone born with privileges which in of itself reverses the roles Like many girls wanting a prince a rock star, a handsome rich person Or someone who just could pick any girl and Any girl would accept But not for their reasons that matter since they want what they have not because of who they are Which is why the girl must prove themselves to him in this case Back to the point or conversation the expectation of being the knight in shining armor that happens to be strong, moral and kinda hearted is all i believe women looks for in a man At least the actual good women in the world And who they choose is based on the qualities of what being a good or outstanding man is Which is why the whole thing is questionable It seems not everyone not even Hiccup or Peter Could prove themselves had the circumstances not been right thus Astrid and MJ wouldn’t have fallen for them because they lack the quality that they developed from extraordinary events if the events were ordinary The whole would they fall in love gets called into question As I doubt Mj or Astrid can imagine what Peter or Hiccup would be like if they didn’t become who they became due to what happened in their lives You could say they wouldn’t even be considered for being couples due to that lack of the opportunity On a positive note to end this I say it’s matter of the girl needs to see them in a position where they see them at their strongest and weakest when making a moral choice regardless of the outcome or if they made the right decision Testing their kindness strength, their overall qualities even their time to grow into good natured and looking individuals In which you could say that is when anyone start caring about anyone You shouldn’t care about someone if you don’t see them And you shouldn’t care for what they have via birth alone be it their status or their looks alone It maybe apart of it but to say it’s the deciding factor would be wrong Since you can find someone in the same or greater privileges And the best way to see someone is to either give them power Or put them in a position where their true nature is revealed Both Peter and Hiccup got those But if they didn’t Would Mj or Astrid fall for them

The first movie holds a very special place in my heart. And so do the first 4 games. I think the atmosphere is visually stunning and I feel is a gold standard for visual effects. Even 18 years later this still holds up. Can’t wait for Return to Silent Hill. They brought back Gans to film it and It’s based on the 2nd game. So far it looks fantastic and the environments and sets are stunning. Can’t wait!

Everyone here and elsewhere mentions, and rightfully so, that the various slideshows and interviews seem to be the sort of thing plopped in to justify the show's screening on Animal Planet. However, one thing I've realized that may be just as, if not _more_ important for these little information tidbits, is as a _justification_ for whatever goes down in the episode. Case in point, the skateboarding hijinks in Thunderbird. We were already getting tons of repeated "this is a giant flying creature that could snatch your kids," and all of a sudden we get a slideshow about skateboard hospitalization statistics. Doesn't really mean much for knowledge's sake, but it's the _perfect_ excuse to have one of those boys in a position to be easily snatched by the Thunderbird.
